Week 9 Progress

Looking Back

I am not 100% happy with my progress so far. I think if I could turn back I time I would have approached the blogs differently. I think when my lecturer said "you can afford to miss a few blog uploads when you're busy" was something I took a bit too much for granted. This is why I am probably not going to come out with the result I feel I truly deserve. I'm trying to be positive however from this experience and learn from my mistakes.

My weekly routine is okay but fluctuates week to week depending what life throws at me. I think I have also been poor at picking times to do things but I have been very exhausted this semester because of the heavy workload from each module. I feel like I have chosen my mental and physical health first by sometimes resting instead of doing blogs.

The class assignments I like the most would be the reflective blogs like this, the feedback comments, the tech tasks as well as the growth mind-set tasks. I feel like the reflective blogs are definitely my favourite blogs to complete. I think these are great for putting your frustrations and feelings down on paper which can leave you with a clear mind. I also think that they are great for reflecting and learning about what you can improve on and how you can change your approach to things in the future. I mostly use the blog comments when using the extra credit options. I sometimes use the tech tasks and growth mind-set tasks however as well.

Looking Forward

I want to make sure I understand the marking system better in the next semester so I know when I can afford to not do something and know when I need to do something. I feel like I just went through the motions and when I missed a week or two and did no extra credits, this left me in quite a deficit when it came to my marks. I want to avoid falling into the trap of leaving assignments to the last minute. I also want to make sure I stay on top of things to avoid unnecessary pressure on myself.
