Assignments

I'm intrigued by the the Unity3D and the project as part of the core assignments. I'm looking forward to learning the basics of how to create games on Unity3D. I have always been really into playing games so the thought of being able to create one really excites me. I am looking forward to the project part of the assignment because I get the opportunity to create a game of my choice. There is requirements that the game must have but there is still plenty of creative freedom to put your own spin on things which I am excited for.

This module is unlike other modules because it has an extra credit section and also has a wide array of different things you can do to get marks in this section as well. The extra credit section sounds great. This section gives you the opportunity to get ahead in your module and finish early, gives you the opportunity to catch up on work you might have missed out on to regain marks and also gives you a chance to explore and learn things that go further than the core assignments of the module. This allows you learn more than what the core module offers if you desire which other modules don't offer. The other great thing about this section is that the extra credit assignments aren't too time consuming as they range from 15-30 minutes. This section has so many different areas to get marks in which is amazing. This means if you don't like a certain part of your module, there is other options there for you to get marks in. This is so important because there is nothing worse than being in a module and hating everything about it or finding it difficult and having no outlet.

The extra credit options that grab my attention would be the H.E.A.R.T., extra commenting and the tech tasks. I have already taken a liking to the growth mindset which is interlinked to H.E.A.R.T. section so I am excited to see what other potential readings I might come across. I am also looking forward to the extra commenting part of the module as I already like socialising so I think this could be a part of the module I might be able to excel in. I think the tech task section could also be fun as I would like to learn how to do more things with my blog as well as learn other web based technology such as basic photo editing and creating memes.
